Stefon Diggs is the star wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, but his brother Trevon is also making waves in the NFL. The Cowboys corner has been putting up big numbers and could be a key part of their success this season.
The darez diggs are the Dallas Cowboys’ two-time Pro Bowl cornerback and his brother, Stefon Diggs. Trevon has been outscoring his brother in recent weeks and it’s causing a family feud between them.
Trevon Diggs, the cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys (5-1) is a true superstar.
Diggs, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 195 pounds, is a long and lanky cornerback with a large enough frame to take on today’s NFL’s taller wide receivers. He’s the epitome of a quick-twitch athlete with an uncanny ability to read the game. He was a wide receiver in the past, but now he plays cornerback.
The Cowboys selected Diggs in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama, and he showed promise right away as a rookie. He has three interceptions, 14 passes defensed, 58 total tackles (49 solo), one sack, and one forced fumble in his debut NFL season.
Even though Diggs’ rookie season was fantastic, it wasn’t enough to prepare the NFL for the dominating second season he’ll have in 2021.
He’s been so successful that he’s putting his brother, Buffalo Bills standout wide receiver Stefon Diggs (4-1), under pressure to score more.
Trevon Diggs has thrown more interceptions than the majority of NFL clubs.
Trevon Diggs currently has the fifth-most interceptions (seven) of any NFL player this season.
This season, he has more touchdowns than his brother Stefon Diggs, Allen Robinson, Brandin Cooks, and Kyle Pitts combined.
It’s very good.

The Cowboys won a 35-29 overtime thriller over the New England Patriots (2-4) on Sunday Night Football.
Late in the fourth quarter, with Dallas leading 26-21, Diggs was once again in the right position at the right time. He intercepted a Mac Jones throw that deflected off wideout Kendrick Bourne’s hands and into his arms. He then utilized his amazing acceleration and speed to get another one to the home.
It was Diggs’ eighth interception of the season, and his second pick-six of 2021.
Diggs has the most interceptions of any NFL player, and it’s not even close. With four interceptions, Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson (4-2) is second in the league.
Even more remarkable is the fact that Diggs has intercepted more passes than all but five NFL clubs combined.
The Cowboys have a team-high 11 interceptions, with Diggs playing a key part in that number. Diggs has more interceptions than teams like the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers, who are also unbeaten (5-1). The Cardinals, in particular, now boast the NFL’s third-best team defense. While not as excellent as Arizona, the Packers have been known to throw interceptions this season.
Diggs has been nothing short of amazing.
Trevon Diggs had more touchdowns than his brother, Stephon Diggs, who is a wide receiver.
Stefon Diggs, the Bills’ wide receiver, is having a sluggish season compared to his younger brother, who is ripping up the NFL and may possibly enter the MVP discussion. Although he has 28 catches for 374 yards and a 13.4 yards per catch average, the elder Diggs has only scored once in 2021.
That’s a little disappointing given that he has an MVP-caliber quarterback in Josh Allen giving him the ball.
It’s also likely a personal disappointment for Diggs, who is being outscored by his brother, the cornerback. Trevon now has two touchdowns on the season after his pick-six against the Patriots.
Isn’t it true that a little family quarrel never harmed anyone?

If you think the Diggs brothers aren’t paying attention to the statistics the other is putting up, you’re mistaken.
After scoring his first touchdown of the season on a pick-six by Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles (2-4), the younger Diggs suggested the two players compare their touchdown totals this season.
According to Pro Football Talk, he remarked, “We may get a little competition going.”
Stefon, for one, was quick to calm down his younger brother while still praising him.
According to the Bills’ website, Stefon stated, “I try to keep him even-keeled since he’s had three games and the previous one was a pick-six.” “So I said, ‘Give me a couple of games,’ as far as touchdowns go.’ I’ll take you out quickly. I’m really looking forward to seeing him.
“I try not to get too carried away with his achievements, but he’s playing some excellent ball.”
It’s worth mentioning that Stefon has a chance to catch up with his brother on Monday Night Football at the time of this writing. In Week 6 of the NFL season, the Bills face a Tennessee Titans (3-2) squad that allows 26 points per game.
He’ll have to keep scoring if he wants to stay up with his younger sibling. Trevon Diggs seems to have no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
ESPN and Pro Football Reference provided the statistics.
