Typically, WCCO does not identify suspects until prosecutors have charged them with a crime.
Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call 651-266-5650.
The gunfire began at the Seventh Street Truck Park just after midnight on Sunday morning. Multiple 911 callers “frantically pleaded for assistance” minutes after the assault, according to police.

A lady in her twenties, according to authorities, died. Fourteen more individuals were transported to hospitals in the region for treatment. They’re all expected to make it. While paramedics arrived, good Samaritans assisted victims alongside police.
“I can only characterize it as horrific,” said Steve Linders, a spokesman for the St. Paul Police Department. “I remember the young lady who passed away.” She’s having a wonderful time one minute, then she’s laying in her friends’ arms, fighting to save her life the next, and she doesn’t make it. There’s nothing I can think of that’s worse.”

The three hospitalized suspects were not among the 14 persons injured in the mayhem, according to police.
However, early evidence suggests that there were several shooters, according to authorities. There is yet to be established a motivation.
In an earlier statement, Axtell stated, “My heart aches for the lady who was murdered, her loved ones, and everyone else who was in that pub this morning.” “They were thrown into a terrible scenario in an instant.” I want them to know that we have the finest detectives in the nation working for us, and we’re not going to stop until we find out who’s behind this craziness. We’ll do all we can to keep them responsible.”
Axtell later tweeted that he talked with the woman’s relatives and that they are “extremely heartbroken.”
He vowed at the time, “We would deliver justice to the victims.”
Melvin Carter, the mayor, issued a statement on Twitter.

“The horrific events from yesterday night have left our community heartbroken,” Carter added. “As our Saint Paul police seek to apprehend those guilty for these heinous crimes, our effort to develop more proactive and comprehensive public safety measures has never been more important.” “Violence will never be tolerated in our community.”
The lady who died has yet to be officially named by investigators. An autopsy will be performed by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, and her identity and the precise cause of death will be released.
